On 4 May, the Independence Day of the Republic of Latvia and International Firefighters' Day, Rolands Čerkasovs, who served in Jūrmala fire brigades for more than 35 years, was pleasantly surprised by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren by organizing his 90th-anniversary celebration at the Latvian Firefighting Museum. Roland's wife also worked for many years as a dispatcher and housekeeper at the Riga Regional Administration, Part 4, in Jurmala.
The greatest treasure of Rolandas Čerkasovs' long life is the large group of descendants and the true love and respect given by his family, as well as the awareness of his lifelong contribution to the development of technical support for firefighting in Jūrmala.
We wish him joy and well-deserved satisfaction!
