On 17 May, the Latvian Fire Museum hosted the launch of Jeļena Skuratova's children's book "Forest of Goodness" (Zvaigzne ABC). The authors of the book, through the content of the publication and beautiful illustrations, have given children an opportunity to learn about the basics of preserving and protecting the wealth of our country - forests - in an understandable and attractive way.
Ekaterina Ternikova, the artist of the book, took part in the event. Lieutenant-Colonel Agris Šūmanis, operational duty officer of the Operational Management Department of the State Fire and Rescue Service, introduced the conditions for safe handling of forest fires to the visitors of the event.
