On 17 November, on the occasion of the 104th anniversary of the proclamation of independence of the Republic of Latvia, the most outstanding employees of the service were awarded for their conscientious work, including the Ministry of the Interior's Silver Medal of Honour to Daina Hincenberga, Deputy Director of the Latvian Firefighting Museum.
