Yesterday, September 25, a total of 23 teams from all over Latvia, divided into groups, competed bravely in the traditional annual competition "Brave firefighter" organized by VUGD Riga regional administration in Lucavsala, Riga.
The exercise of unfolding from a motor pump was performed by the volunteer firemen's association and professional firefighters, alongside men, women, young women and young men also competed.
For young women, the team of Saldus technical school was the best, for boys, SIA "Latakva"1 was the strongest. team. Among the women's teams, VUGD "Rīga" girls were lucky. The team of the Jaunpils Volunteer Firefighters Association was the best for the volunteer firefighters, while for the professional firefighters, the men from the Alsunga post of the VUGD showed the best time.
