After completing the training program, on April 29 of this year, in the Hall of Fame of the museum, the new officials - call center dispatchers of the Unified Contact Center of the State Fire and Rescue Service gave a solemn promise to serve the public with the best of conscience, as well as to constantly improve their professional qualifications.
Dispatchers play an important role in the correct and operative processing of emergency calls to the single number 112, in coordinating the involvement of necessary resources, which results in the saving of countless lives and material values.
In the museum, the young specialists got to know the history of fire fighting in Latvia, incl. the history of the evolution of means of communication.
